Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to join our growing team. This is a unique opportunity to work in both our clinic and our mobile practice, assisting in small animal medicine, anesthesia, dentistry, and preventive care. Additional assistance may be offered/requested in our growing large animal affiliate. The ideal candidate enjoys teaching, thrives in a team-oriented environment, and takes pride in providing exceptional patient and client care.

Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist veterinarians in all aspects of patient care, including exams, anesthesia, surgery, and recovery.
- Perform blood draws, radiographs, IV catheter placement
- Manage anesthesia monitoring and patient safety during procedures.
- Perform dental cleanings, radiographs, and patient treatments.
- Participate in mobile visits, setting up and assisting with on-site diagnostics and treatments.
- Mentor and train veterinary assistants, externs, and volunteers.
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure proper patient documentation.
- Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues in a supportive and professional manner.
- Contribute to an organized, efficient, and collaborative work environment.
Qualifications:
- Current California RVT license required.
- Minimum 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred (mobile experience a plus).
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Passion for teaching and mentoring others.
- Ability to work independently in the field and adapt to various clinical settings.
- Commitment to patient safety, client education, and continuous learning.
